Quasimodo by Jens Ohlin

The earth is perishing. Perhaps.

Medieval times in a Gothic Paris. Fires rage. The rain is mixed with blood. People are dying like flies. In the cathedral of Notre-Dame, Quasimodo works as a bell ringer. On his shoulder sits his undeveloped twin, which lives its own life at night. It is the twin who receives the detailed revelations about God's punishment and the annihilation of mankind. Four weeks is all that remains.

How will we live our last days? With penance, hoping to appease God's wrath and avert disaster? Well, should we really spend the last time giving up everything in life that is nice and fun - just because it might be connected to a possible disaster? Imagine if it doesn't connect at all, and that nothing can be done about the downfall. Isn't it better then to go all in on what is called sin? And can Quasimodo and his twin really be trusted? What exactly is their agenda?

Besides - hasn't it been talked about for a long time now, about the last day? Haven't we heard that talk for quite a few years? Yet we always wake up to a new day.
