AFTER SUN
Sophie and her father Calum (Paul Mescal) are at a sunny resort, their first holiday together since their divorce. It's a seemingly idyllic existence, but the melancholy of the adult world begins to seep through Calum's facade. 20 years later, Sophie thinks back on their journey, and tries to piece together the man she remembers as her father, with the sides she never saw but knows were there.
Aftersun is Charlotte Wells's critically acclaimed debut film about parenthood, the transience of memories, and suddenly growing up one day.
BREAKFAST CINEMA
On selected Sundays, Bio Roy prepares a breakfast in the lounge and shows a new film that we like a little extra. Breakfast is ready in the lounge at 10.00, where you can eat in peace beforehand or take a tray with you to your cinema seat. The film then starts at 10.30.
If you buy a ticket to Frukostbio, a breakfast tray is included, which you eat in the cinema hall for the film. The breakfast package consists of roll with cheese and vegetables (or vegan roll if you choose), yogurt, juice and coffee or tea. NOTE. If a special diet is desired, email: bioroykassa@gmail.com. The deadline for this is Friday at 10 a.m. the same week.
