WHAT IS FOLK CUISINE?

Folkkök is an arena where we cook food based on waste raw materials together! With Folkkök, we want to reduce our food waste and at the same time design new meeting places. Folkkök has been running at Aktivitetsshuset in various forms since 2012.

In the years before the pandemic, we had Folkkök every Monday, with a full house of 50-60 people almost every time. During the spring of 2023, we will start stealthily with a couple of occasions and during the autumn we plan to run every week.

The 2023 version of Folkkök takes place within the framework of the project Vangga bäkkar små - micro-instances for reduced food waste, with funding from the Västra Götaland region and is done in collaboration with Solidariskt sfårgård and NBV.
