Hjort Anders and John Coltrane are both equally important to the music of the Swedish Folk Jazz Quartet. The energetic, slightly spiky and melancholy in jazz and Swedish folk music are mixed and allowed to meet improvisation.

The idea itself may not be new, but what is new is the result. Dance music, free jazz, folk music! It's strange and wonderful at the same time, and the music is performed by a great band!
