London-born Black Country, New Road is among the hottest you can listen to right now. With one foot in the monotonous protopost rock of Slint, The Fall and Bad Seeds squeaks, and the other firmly rooted in the contemporary, this six-strong band represents something rather unique on today's music scene.
After having only released two songs for a long time (and in the same vein being named the world's best band by The Quietus), the band now has two sold-out albums to dig into. Not even singer Isaac Wood's departure could stop them - at the time of writing, there is new live record 'Live at Bush Hall' which only contains newly written material out to listen to.
