On Saturday, July 23, it's time for this year's Riverrun.

This year is also the 10th anniversary and we want to make a big splash.

SHARE the event and invite with all your friends and we will break a new record and create a real folk party together.

During the day we will have several competitions with nice prizes.

Among other things in the categories:

- Funniest crew / theme

- Naughtiest individual attire

- The most helpful company

- Best photo

As the event has grown enormously in recent years, we must take greater responsibility for safety and take proper care of nature.

We will have several different officials who help during the day and take care of all the littering that unfortunately takes place in different places. The rescue service also wants us to have an updated list of participants in case something should happen.

Therefore, we need to start with a registration fee:

SEK 50 / person (applies to everyone over 18 years)

Write the name of the participants you pay for.

Feel free to register as soon as possible so we get a hint about the number of participants. The first 1000 people who pay secure a place in all competitions. Of course, everything will be refunded if the event is canceled.

We are looking for people who in some way can help us improve the event or who themselves should not go to Riverrun but have the opportunity to be a functionary instead. Compensation is paid for the hours or assignments performed. Get in touch with questions or register your interest via messenger.

Below is some info. More details about the entire setup will come as it approaches and important information will be sent to the mobile numbers that swishat or provided in connection with the registration.

Buy an inflatable boat on time so not everyone runs out and follow this wonderful day on Säveån from Jonsered to Gothenburg which takes about 5-6h. Most arrive at the finish line at Partille station around 4 p.m.

We gather around 9.30 at the large asphalt field at Jonsered industrial area. By car you drive down on Jons väg where Östhjälpen is located and the address is Vävarevägen 41. From the train station you go through a subway away over the bridge. There we inflate the boats and prepare. Officials are on site from 9.00.

Around 10.00 we start to get into the water. No later than 10.30, everyone must gather in the same place in the river for a group photo. After the spectacle has been photographed, everyone is released at the same time. If you have difficulty reaching Jonsered before 10 o'clock, you can instead get to Kåhög no later than 12.00.

Around 11.30 is Riverrun at Kåhög where we have a longer stop where you can take the opportunity to take a pee break and maybe have lunch. There, all crews who have not already registered in Jonsered will also get a start number because the competitions start from there.

At 12.30 we start preparing for departure to be photographed again when we are all released together at 13.00 and then it is important to arrive at the finish line at Allum before 6 pm when Riverrun ends. There is no price to come first as we want everyone to be able to enjoy in peace and quiet this wonderful day.

It takes about 3 hours from Kåhög to Allum and there will be officials there from 15.00. If the weather is nice, several crews will surely continue down to Gothenburg afterwards.

It is good not to pack too many things as it can be a little uncomfortable in the boat. But some things can be important:

- Something to float on 😉

- Life jacket is something positive.

- A waterproof bag or jar for valuables and maybe change.

- Sandals or flip-flops can be smart to wear or wear.

- Water and sunscreen as the sun can stay for several hours.

- Lunch bag if you do not want to eat at McDonalds or Allum.

- Alcohol for those who party during the day and maybe a ball 😉

- Tape or bicycle hose repair in case of an accident.

There are boats with accessories to buy at Clas Ohlson, Biltema, Rusta and Jula for about SEK 200-300. On e.g. Clas Ohlson, there are waterproof bags in different sizes for around SEK 100.
