FAUNA is a performance that touches themes of intimacy, identity and mutual collaboration. The performers share their personal experiences, thoughts and dreams, verbally and physically forming a common choreographic narrative, exploring unconventional ways of communication through the use of the body and touch.

This performance is the result of a Community based project with support of Västra Götaland Regionen (VGR) developed in Göteborg arranged by dance and performance artist
Sebastian Ruiz - Dance_remainings during the first half of 2022. FAUNA was part of West Pride last year where the LGBTQ + community in the city was invited to meet professional queer dance artists, taking part in their work and practice and participate in workshops. The performance aims to reflect, among other things, on how the experience of dance, both as a performer / dancer and spectator, can contribute on strengthening the individual and the group creating new spaces and opportunities within the LGBTQ + discourse; physically, intellectually and creatively.
