Fearsome Thing is arranging a full weekend workshop in acting technique, text analysis and monologue work for actors from age 15+. Suitable for everyone who is preparing for an audition for a job or a drama school in Sweden or abroad, or simply wants to practice the craft of text work. One of the most important tools for an actor is the ability to approach a text and make it your own. During the workshop you will be guided through the process of finding the character and their world in a text and how to perform it for an audience or audition panel. You will work on a specific monologue that you can use for auditions and be given key tools that you can later apply to your own script work.

Fearsome Thing is an international performance group that has produced and performed award winning immersive theatre in Gothenburg since 2018. Elizabeth Neale, who will run the workshop, is a British actor, director and drama teacher located in Gothenburg who has worked professionally for 15 years. Amongst her experience she has performed in several productions at Gothenburg English Studio Theatre and Gothenburg Fringe Festival.
