Gothenburg's Poetry Slam is back with another brilliant evening at the Folkteatern with an open stage for poetry and the city's best booked acts! Captivating texts from both undiscovered storytellers, Swedish and international poetry slam masters and established book poets. The night is certainly so dark in midwinter, but so extra lovely then with poetry from a prized citizen of Gothenburg, a Finnish president and Central Sweden!
Everything is led as usual by the poet and writer Olivia Bergdahl.

Accessible and overwhelming, it's no wonder that literary awards and accolades have showered upon his output and now — finally! — it's time for Gothenburg's Poetry Slam to welcome Johannes Anyuru!
Rosanna Fellman
The most Finnish-Swedish stage poet, now current with his second collection of poems. She succeeds in the fascinating art of writing stage poetry that is not about herself, but where the self is someone else — in the latest case, a fictional Finnish president. With humor and political edge, presence and twinkle in the eye, all the way from Turku directly to the Folkteatern, Gothenburg's Poetry Slam presents, and welcomes, Rosanna Fellman!
Jonas Gren
Author, journalist and climate debater, but above all poet! With humor and heartfelt warmth, sadness and hope and poems where all the beauty of nature is closest to man and a wonderful ability for literary references. A wreath of sonnets about skiing, the human race, flowers in the valley and most recently a dystopian depiction of the future in novel form. Has also participated in the performance Nationalparken, so the stage is no stranger to him — Gothenburg's Poetry Slam welcomes Jonas Gren!
