Gothenburg's Poetry Slam is back with another brilliant evening at the Folkteatern with an open stage for poetry and the city's best booked acts! Captivating texts from both undiscovered storytellers, Swedish and international poetry slam masters and established book poets. November may be dark, but here comes Gothenburg's Poetry Slam with poems from Höör, love from Gothenburg and performing arts from Denmark!

Everything is led as usual by the poet and writer Olivia Bergdahl.

Marit Kapla

Sprinkled with prizes and plaques for her debut book Osebol (August prize! Borås Tidning! Guldpennan!) and now hot with Kärlek på svenska, she has succeeded in formulating a completely new genre in journalistic poetry, where each voice is emailed forward in short lines, which all contain a trembling truth. She has toured the country together with Martin Hederos, but no poetry tour is complete without a visit to Gothenburg's Poetry Slam!

The culture pages have been showering her with adjectives for the past year! With a warmth so enormous that you confidently (and laughing!) throw yourself headlong into the most painful darkness, only to be gently led back — Gothenburg's Poetry Slam presents Maria Maunsbach!

Rasmus Rhode

After all, there is nothing better than regular Danish visits! And now it's time for one of the most brilliant Danish spoken word stars! Stage poet, actor and one of the few who has realized that you can actually use your whole body when you stand on stage to read a poem. It's a party! Funny, sad, unexpected and occasionally extremely painful. Gothenburg's Poetry Slam presents Rasmus Rhode!
