Now a new chapter begins in the Maritime Museum Aquarium's history. For a hundred years, millions of visitors have crossed the threshold of the house. Now we have done the biggest remodeling and expansion of the museum ever and we look forward to meeting you again.

Experience four floors filled with experiences, salty stories, underwater life and interesting objects. For families with children, floor 3 is a given, with the exhibition Stora blue and the Knattegatt playroom. There are also a variety of ship models here in the model exhibition Ship in focus. Plan 2 offers great drama over the seas with the Sea of ​​Stories exhibition. On the entrance floor (floor 1) there is the new bistro, Café One, and the museum's new shop. Underground (level 0) the Aquarium takes place with its exciting underwater world, here you can find aquatic animals, the Water Planet exhibition and the Ocean Lab research station.

During the weekend, Slynkören, Gothenburg's music choir Stadspiparna and Henrik Cederblom and partner will perform. There will also be creative activities and mini-lectures. Outside the museum there will be tents with mulled wine and gingerbread serving.
