Fauna and Nefertiti present - Gösta Berling's Saga in two parts
Gösta Berling's Saga is Sweden's noblest and most obscure flag bearer of instrumental progressive rock in the true sense of the term - innovative, cinematic and fate-saturated - sometimes hopeful, sometimes night black. With a persistent desire to develop and challenge themselves and the listeners, the band on six albums has sniffed at influences such as Goblin's sense of darkness and mood, Klaus Schulze's monotonous synth arpeggio, a small dose of Universe Zero's seriousness and a pinch from Magma's all side projects for to then boil everything together into its own universe. Add modern influences such as Watain, Peder Mannerfelt and Tonbruket and the result will be even more interesting.
Gösta Berlings Saga has not played in Gothenburg since before the pandemic and they have also released a new album in the meantime with the name Konkret Musik. Therefore, we are extra excited that they come to us and offer a concert in two parts this evening.
